SYNOPSIS
The film focuses on funeral practices in Hong Kong by following the journey of Dominic NGAI (played by Dayo WONG), a wedding planner who, through a series of circumstances, teams up with a traditional Taoist priest (played by Michael HUI) to enter the world of death rites. Through this initiation, he seeks to grasp the meaning of life and death. The film grossed HK$122 million, making it the biggest box office success in local cinema history in Hong Kong.

Winner of the Silver Mulberry Audience Award and the Black Dragon Award at the 27th Far East Film Festival.

About Anselm CHAN
Anselm has worked in the Hong Kong film industry for many years. As a screenwriter for numerous films and television series, he ventured into directing his own works in 2021, for which he also writes the screenplays. His first two romantic comedies, Ready o/r Knot and its sequel, were warmly received by the Hong Kong public. His third feature film, The Last Dance, broke records at the Hong Kong box office.
