CUBE3, we pride ourselves on being the gateway for Hong Kong’s finest artistic talents in Paris. On February 6th, we had the distinct pleasure of hosting the award-winning illustrator and comic artist Pen So (@penso) for the opening of his solo exhibition. Renowned for his iconic works City of Darkness and Dali Libreria, and a three-time representative at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, Pen So mesmerized our guests by revealing the creative process behind his hauntingly detailed ink drawings of "Old Hong Kong." A huge thank you to DimDan Maidan (@dimdan_maidan) for their exceptional partnership and for providing the nostalgic culinary backdrop that made the evening complete. It is our privilege at CUBE3 to continue promoting Hong Kong’s vibrant culture and its world-class artists in the heart of France. 3rd Edition of the Hong Kong Film Festival in Paris (FFHKP)
The 4th edition of the Hong Kong Film Festival de Paris took place from November 7 to 16, 2025. Guided by the theme "Anchorage", the festival delved into the complex layers of identity, belonging, and the migration history that defines the Hong Kong spirit. Venues: Cinéma Club de l’Étoile and Cinéma Saint-André des Arts. Lineup: 7 new feature films, short films, retrospectives, and exclusive previews. Key Highlights: Opening Film: Love Lies, a romantic comedy exploring the nature of truth and connection in the digital age. Closing Film: Vital Signs, starring Louis Koo, capturing the pulse of the current wave of departures from the city. Special Program: "Voices of the Diaspora," highlighting the global experiences of Hongkongers. Spotlight: A tribute to the legendary actor Sean Lau (Lau Ching-wan), featuring a screening and discussion of Papa.
