Synopsis: LAW Kar invited a famous protestor of the 1966 star ferry riot - Paul SO Sau Chung - to participate in his experimental film project, in which SO expressed the frustration and repressed desire of Chinese young intellectuals, showing that the colonial subjects were living as “beggars” under the British repression. Alongside with another experimental project - Routine, Begging is included and mentioned in the documentary Cinema Strada.
